Appointment Types

If you are a new client and are unsure of what type of appointment to book, please review our FAQs on our website.

Making an Account

Please create an account under your name for scheduling parent appointments. You will then have the option to create a child account within your parent account to schedule play therapy appointments.

Scheduling

Please note that the time between your appointment and another client’s may be as short as 15 minutes. This allows just enough time to clean the playroom for the next child and complete paperwork. Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This will help me keep things running smoothly. If you arrive before this time, I will likely still be tidying from the previous appointment/seeing off the previous family, and may not be able to buzz you up right away.

Late Arrivals: If you’re running late, your appointment may need to be shortened to avoid disrupting the schedule for other families.

Thank you for your understanding!

Play Therapy

Supportive play based counselling services for children aged 3 to 12

~ Legacy Clients

Please use this category for booking appointments if you are a client with grandfathered scheduling permissions that are being phased out. Please consult with Nadia if you are unsure.

Nadia is warm and compassionate, and takes pride in being able to make even the most nervous little ones—and their parents—feel comfort and safety during the therapeutic process. She knows how intimidating it can be to get started and is deeply grateful you are considering including her in your family’s wellness journey. Nadia honours the vulnerability it takes to seek support and wants to reassure parents that their proactive steps in planning for their child’s care are meaningful expressions of love, insight, and commitment.

Nadia specializes in working with children ages 3 to 12 using play-based techniques. She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, a Master of Social Work, and a Certificate in Child-Centred Play Therapy. She has also completed intensive training in Filial Therapy and Parent Support, and integrates these approaches to support both children and their caregivers.

Nadia takes a whole-family approach to care. She works from a child-centred play therapy (CCPT) perspective, creating a safe and accepting space where children can express themselves freely through play—a process shown to promote resilience, healing, and emotional growth. Recognizing the central role of parents in a child’s wellbeing, Nadia actively invites parent involvement in the therapy process and offers parent coaching as a key component of her work. Whether through parent consultations, skill-building sessions, or Filial Therapy, she helps caregivers feel more confident, connected, and equipped to support their children at home.

With over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and young adults, Nadia brings a wealth of insight and dedication to her work. Before entering private practice, she held roles at agencies such as KidsAbility, Conestoga College, The Canadian Hearing Society, Lutherwood, and more.
